Eastern, Southern, Western Europe – here I come!

I have a rough idea of where I’d like to go (no, not in life, but that’s next on the list) in Europe: the land across the eastern sea from Italy, Croatia – its landlocked capital Zagreb, the island towns near Split, the “Pearl of the Adriatic” Dubrovnik, and the very Venetian peninsula of Istria. Then Italy – Venice and whatever else my girlfriend Lauren and I can do in a day nearby, then I’m on my own in Florence and Rome. After that, there’s Spain (Madrid and/or Barcelona), Portugal (Lisbon), Paris, Berlin, Prague, Budapesht (phonetically spelled), Slovenia (Ljubljana), Montenegro (Bay of Kotor), and Bosnia-Herzegovina (Mostar).

Whew! I’m exhausted just writing the list. Maybe this trip will be harder than I think.
